It could be the simple love note she snuck into your lunchbox as a kid, or the way she kept late-night watch until you entered the house safe and sound. Or the million unspoken things she does to make sure her children are happy, comfortable and, most imp...ortantly, feel loved. A mother's love, whether from a mom, grandmother, or other female role model, shapes who we are and what we can offer this world. Yes, today is none other than Mother's Day, that wonderful holiday honoring moms everywhere. It was started by Anna Marie Jarvis to honor her own mother who had passed away. Her idea was popular, and for several years, she campaigned to have it established as a national holiday. On May 8, 1914, Congress passed a law establishing Mother's Day as the second Sunday in May
